Education before COVID-19

Srilanka is an island that was situated in the Indian Ocean near the equator. According to senses, Srilankan educational system has a high quality of education techniques than other countries. There must be a competition among students about studies. Their engagement in studies is very impressive. And the teachers do their service correctly. Some students study under strict teachers; this is also a kind of discipline that arises among students teachers. there was no problem in Srilankan educational system before the corona crisis. Always the students under control of teachers and the schools teach discipline and manners to them.

Education after COVID-19

I have no idea about how corona spread on china. If I mention that this topic may change to politicalized. So I start like " Corona has started to spread from China to Sri Lanka".Covid-19 was a new disease to us. Because we never get experienced on those diseases, The 1st 6 months our country under 144 and savior lockdown on Srilanka to minimize to prevent the over spreadings. The government of Srilanka decided to block everything in Sri Lanka. So Srilanka's economical status goes down. It leads to a high economical crisis. These economical crises also play a part in students' life. so the country decided to close schools till these problems are over. Srilankan education under a question mark.

3 to 4 months we follow lockdown strictly later our fear of corona be like this,👇

later the teachers think about the student's studies and decided to start online classes via zoom webinar, Microsoft-Teams, and Google classroom e.t.c
these online class tools help a lot of students to continue their studies. this online class trend was already in foreign countries, now in Sri Lanka also. In Srilanka first, this online class risk was taken by Jaffna tuition institutes ( NEW SCIENCE WORLD, SCIENCE HALL). If we don't have these corona situation studies of science students spend more money for classes. that money is for extra expenditures; like bus fee, for food,e.t.c
due to these online classes we save that money. After the class was introduced / at the starting period of class there were no problems. Even the coin has sides like the online classes also have another dark side. day by day its original face was detected. if I start to tell about the online class issues it leaders to another topic so I redirect to the original topic.

Why were exams got postponed?

There  were 2 main reasons; 

1. Strike of SriLankan teachers society
2. corona crisis

preparation for exams is the most important factor in exams. there was no time for that kind of preparation. According to that situation, Srilankan educational ministry decided to post pon the exams for next year. this is the reason why I put that meme on top of this post. there was no year for the 2021 batch. our name will be 2021 but the year we wrote the exam must be next year.
